We are certified!

As one of seven child care centers in Connecticut, we are a Nature Explore Classroom. The Arbor Day Foundation and Dimensions Educational Research Foundation have joined together to address the growing disconnect between children and nature.  Our certified Nature Explore classrooms help fill this void by integrating research-based outdoor learning opportunities into our children’s lives each day.

We are endorsed!

Eco-Healthy Child Care is a national program that ensures child care settings are as happy, healthy, safe and green as possible by reducing children’s exposure to toxins. We use green products throughout our center at all times! For more information go to www.ecohealthychildcare.org

We are accredited!

For 25 years we have worked tirelessly to create a model early childhood educational center for all children who walk, run, crawl or get carried through our doors!  Our last re-accreditation was in November 2012. Out of 10 program standards, we passed nine at 100% and one at 97%!  For more information about NAEYC go to www.naeyc.org/
